When Netflix came to us with 13 Reasons Why, we wanted to raise awareness about the show’s sensitive topics. We asked Germany’s leading influencers to deactivate all comments on their social media accounts for 48 hours. Only later did we reveal the important message behind the stunt: words have consequences.
